Neil Brockie Dentist Glasgow 1993

Mr Neil Brockie, BDS

Originally from Dalkeith, Neil graduated from Glasgow University in 1993. After working as an associate in Cumbria, Neil joined the practice in 1995, becoming a practice partner at the Old Orchard Dental Practice in 2001. For the past 28 years Neil has worked hard building the Old Orchard into the busy, family focused practice it is today.

Neil is passionate about life long dental health and prioritises putting his patients at ease, with his down to earth friendly manner. He is experienced in a wide range of dental care, staying abreast of modern developments in dentistry.

In his spare time Neil enjoys playing golf, gardening and spending time with his family.

Benoît Loyer

Mr Benoît Loyer, DipChD

Originally from France, Benoît (Ben) graduated from the University of Nantes. After spending several years in western France, as an associate dentist in general dentistry, he recently moved to Edinburgh.

Full of enthusiasm, Benoît enjoys all aspects of his job and ensures listening to patients is at the center of his work. With his friendly and calm approach, Benoît will put you at ease, suggesting the best treatment options with the highest standards of care for both adults and children.

During his free time Ben loves playing tennis, listening to music and spending time with friends.

Anne-Marie Reid Hygenist

Anne Marie Reid, GDH

Dental Hygienist

Anne Marie is an experienced hygienist who qualified from Glasgow Dental Hospital in 1981. She initially worked in the Periodontal department of the hospital and on a fluoride project funded by Glasgow University.

After having a family Anne Marie moved to general dentistry and began working in the practice 4 years ago. She is passionate about preventative dental hygiene, gum hygiene and preventing periodontal disease and very much enjoys getting to know the patients and being part of a team with the same objectives.

In her spare time, she enjoys, reading, swimming and walking her dog.

Louise

Dental Nurse

Louise intially joined the Old Orchard Dental Practice in 1995, and completed her dental training at Edinburgh’s Telford College in 2000. Following a variety of roles in both dental nursing and outwith the sector, Louise rejoined the practice in 2021 and enjoys all aspects of general denistry. In her spare time she enjoys concerts and spending time with her family

Mhari

Dental Nurse

GDC No: 246518

Mhari qualified from Edinburgh Telford College in 2013 and joined the practice in August 2023. She enjoys working with patients, seeing the progression and outcome of their treatments, and especially seeing their confidence grow with their new smile! 

Nicola

Dental Nurse

GDC No: 269911

Nicola trained at Edinburgh’s Telford College completing her studies in 2016. She joined the practice in October 2021 and enjoys working with nervous patients and restorative cases. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family. 

Angela 

Receptionist & Patient Coordinator

Angela has been with the practice for 12 years, prior to which she worked as a dental nurse. She very much enjoys interacting with regular patients and putting new patients at ease. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening and walking her dog.
